In the Create a Housing Plan lesson, you learned a new definition of home: a place where you can live out the rest of your life without needing to spend your final days in a facility. This is a place you can live in long enough time for it to become familiar.
Your home selection process will take one of two paths, either a private residence or a retirement community. If you choose to remain in a Private Residence, your home will need to meet the four criteria to be age friendly (structure, location, finances, and social/family support). If you chose to move to a Retirement Community, you will have made arrangements for financing.
In the the last topic in this lesson, find a list of resources you can use to implement your housing plan.
